Sony is expected to release as many as five smartphones at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017.

Apart from the recently leaked Xperia XA2 smartphone, the Japanese company is speculated to announce Xperia XZ (2017) at the forthcoming unveil event.

While all we have are grainy images, at least we have images we can look at. Earlier today, a couple of smartphones have surfaced photos.

One of the photos contains four smartphones from Sony. Rumors suggest that one of the smartphones is the Sony Xperia XZ (2017) and alongside it is the current Xperia XZ smartphone that was released in September 2016, according to GSM Arena.

Online reports have also dubbed the Sony Xperia XZ (2017) as Xperia XZ2. The image also contains the Sony Xperia Z Ultra that features a 6.4-inch display. If sizes are anything to go by, it can be asserted that the Sony Xperia XZ2 will be bigger than its predecessor that features a 5.2-inch display. Other leaked shots suggest that Xperia XZ2 would be coming with 4 GB of RAM. Last year's Xperia XZ houses 3 GB of RAM.

If indeed there are going to be 5 phones announced then it'll be interesting to see what Sony have in store for us in 2017.

Sony must be feeling a bit red-faced at the moment after they were hacked once again. The company had their twitter account hacked by unknown persons.

The hackers then went on to post on Sony Music's Twitter account that Britney Spears had died, featuring separate postings that read: "RIP @britneyspears #RIPBritney 1981-2016," and "Britney spears is dead by accident! We will tell you more soon #RIPBritney."

It seemed the news fooled Bob Dylan who allegedly tweeted "Rest in peace @britneyspears" and this happened around the same time as Sony's tweet.

This was of course false as Britney Spears is alive and well and she said as much to CNN. The 35-year-old rubbished the rumour which then led to the belief that Sony must have been hacked.

"I assume their account has been hacked," Spears' manager, Adam Leber, told the news channel. "I haven't spoken to anyone... as of yet but I am certain their account was hacked. Britney is fine and well. There have been a few Internet clowns over the years who have made similar claims about her death, but never from the official Sony Music Twitter account."

Sony confirmed that its Sony Music Entertainment Twitter account had been "compromised."

They went on to apologize for the false tweet stating, "This has been rectified. Sony Music apologizes to Britney Spears and her fans for any confusion."
