Samsung has been awesome this year. They've released some solid devices with some pretty affordable ones too.
Even with that The Galaxy C, Samsung's new baby was leaked online with a premium looking front panel and metal body getting Samsung fanboys salivating.
And now, Samsung is sending out invites to an event in China that will officially take the wraps off the fledgling series.
The date is set for May 26th, at which time presumably definitive pricing and availability details will be disclosed.
Going by the leak last month, the Galaxy C5, the smaller of the two C sizes, will have a 5.2-inch FHD (1920 X 1280) display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 Octa Core SoC, 4GB of RAM, a 2,800mAh battery, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
The Galaxy C7 is supposed to have the same specs, but with a larger 5.7-inch display and a 3,300mAh battery.
It'll be interesting to see how things go after the unveiling and we'll see maybe the C series would be everything its been billed to be.
