Finally! You can now Receive Files up to 50 MB on your Gmail | Mobile phone latest news Google+ Follow Smartfonefreaks on Twitter

In an update that many tech users will be pleased by, Gmail now accepts attachments up to 50mb.

The limit used to be 25mb which was frustrating for some (graphic artists) as for instance it became a nightmare to send large files to clients and the like and people had to resort to alternatives such as dropbox or WeTransfer.

Now before anyone gets too excited, Google are saying that the 50mb increment only works for incoming mail as the sending size remains 25mb and perhaps the alternatives are still the best, but it is what it is.

Google says that the complete rollout of the increased incoming file sizes feature will be finished in 1-3 days for all Gmail users.
