I just got this text message from Bharti Airtel, and it states that...

"Dear Customer, effective 3rd Dec 2013 AIRTEL BB Plans will cease to function on non BB devices or used as a modem . Thank you."

Well what this means is that for everyone(when I mean everyone, I mean IPhone,Android users e.g Techno, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and Pc Modem users) who uses Airtel BB plan to surf the web will no longer be able to do so after 3rd Dec 2013(which is actually my Birthday! #AngryFace).

What's the way forward?

Well on the other hand if this IT giant don't reduce the prices and then increase MegaBytes for other smartphones and Modem users, I fear this is a wakeup call for the debunked #FreeBrowsing Tips and Trick.(Perhaps they might have to pass it law that Free browsing is a Criminal Offence lol).

There's no more line-up for BBM! Open up BBM, and get the conversations started.

Its now official! Android and iPhone Users can now download Blackberry Messenger (BBM) on their devices.

Why was this roll-out or launch abit secretive? well according to Andrew Bocking who heads Blackberry's BBM business, said in a blog post... "To help manage this unprecedented pent-up demand for BBM, we are implementing a simple line-up system to ensure a smooth rollout," on the company's website.

Last week BlackBerry boast of over 6 million Android and iPhone customers had pre-registered for the launch.

In the mean time we hope this isn't a Failure on BlackBerry's part as we see tones of negative blog comments from people saying they are going Android or iPhone leaving Blackberry to a dead end in Sales.

However a new blackberry device is also rolling in like Blackberry Z30 the Big Sister to Z10 and Z15 the very first BlackBerry 10 smartphone.

Tim Cook and his team seem to be very inspired in this latest iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c with the latest technology integrated on it.

Apple's Touch ID sensor for the iPhone 5s was designed to be used with fingerprints, but it seems that it can also be used with other body parts as the folks at Japanese website, Rocket News, have found out when they attempted to lock and unlock the iPhone 5s using their nipples.

One person locked and registered his nipple with the Touch ID, and successfully managed to unlock it by putting it against his chest. When another person attempted something similar with his phone, it did not work, proving that nipples can be one way to lock your iPhone 5s if fingerprints are a little too obvious.

They also experimented with Touch ID using their toes and it turned out to be a success as well, so for those who feel that fingers are a little too obvious and cliche, here are two additional body parts you can use!

The Video however can be found on Youtube with the follow search query " How to Register your iPhone 5s/5c with Nipples and Toes"

September 21st and 22nd was the official date released by Blackberry but unfortunately it was a Global disappointment.

However, the above screenshot from Apples Appstore shows BBM live on Appstore which eventually turned out to be FAKE.

In the late hours of september 21st a press release has also been made by BLackBerry stating...

"We know you're waiting. Pausing ‪#BBM4All‬ rollout to fix issues caused by an unreleased BBM for Android app. Read more: http://blck.by/1bywAAI"

Although another source claims BBM has stated rollingout on iPhones. But it proves to be Fake still.

WATERLOO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 18, 2013) - BBM(TM) - the iconic mobile social network - will begin rolling out for Android(TM) and iPhone(R) customers around the world from September 21. Previously exclusive to BlackBerry(R) (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSX:BB) smartphones, BBM will be available as a free download in Google Play(TM) and the App Store(SM). Customers will be able to download BBM by visiting www.BBM.com from their smartphone browser.
BBM gives you a private social network for active, real conversations.
  • It's immediate. BBM is always on so you are always connected. And because messages on BBM are typically delivered and read within seconds, it's the closest thing to a live conversation.
  • You trust it. BBM always tells you that messages are delivered and read. BBM conversations come alive on a private network you can count on.
  • You control it. BBM allows you to choose your contacts and how you share your information. BBM uses a PIN so you don't have to give anyone your phone number or email address.

"BBM is a very engaging messaging service that is simple to use, easy to personalize and has an immediacy that is necessary for mobile communications," said Andrew Bocking, Executive Vice President for BBM at BlackBerry. "With more than a billion Android, iOS, and BlackBerry smartphones in the market, and no dominant mobile messaging platform, this is absolutely the right time to bring BBM to Android and iPhone customers."

BBM for Android and iPhone features:

BBM Chat - Enjoy real, immediate conversations with friends on Android, iPhone and BlackBerry smartphones. Not only does BBM let you know that your message has been delivered and read, it also shows you that your friend is responding to the message.
More than chat - With BBM you can share files on your phone such as photos and voice notes, all in an instant.

Keep your group in the loop - Multi-person chats are a great way to invite contacts to chat together. BBM Groups lets you invite up to 30 friends to chat together, and go a step further than multi-chat by sharing photos and schedules. And, with Broadcast Message, you can send a message out to all your BBM contacts at once.

Post Updates and stay in the know - BBM lets you post a personal message, profile picture and your current status, and lets your contacts know instantly in Updates.

Your unique PIN - Every BBM user has a unique PIN that maintains your privacy, so you don't have to give out your phone number or email address to a new or casual contact.

BBM will be available as a free download for Android smartphones running Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean (Android 4.x) beginning at 7AM EDT on September 21. BBM for iPhones running iOS 6 and iOS 7 will become available for each market on the App Store schedule of 12:01 AM local time on September 22. For more information, or to download BBM for Android or iPhone, visit www.BBM.com.

BBM will continue to evolve quickly. Later this year, BBM Channels will provide a forum for active, real conversations between you and the people, brands, celebrities, artists, service providers, communities and more, that matter to you. By creating a Channel, individuals and brands can engage their friends and communities in conversations sparked by their thoughts, ideas and passions. Subscribing to a Channel will let you join conversations with people who share your interests. In addition, BBM Video calling and BBM Voice calling are planned for availability for Android and iPhone in a future version.

Brace yourselves people its not a rumor, as we officially counting down to BBM for Andriod and iPhone devices, however its not limited to iPhones alone, also iPads and iTouchs devices too can now PING!!!.

The latest BlackBerry so far is the Z30 and as we all know its similar to its predecessor Z10 so i've come to compare the difference between the two Sisters lol...

First of all i have to admit that after seeing the two devices i fell so in love with the Z30(maybe coz i like big Phones) and so the Z10 looks like a small phone but after checking the difference between the two smartphones i found out nothing really new. As a matter of fact the Older sister which is Z10 has some features Z30 should have but Hell No!

Here are the differences i found out...Although i will update this once the Z30 hits the market and its been test run.

Now lets consider the changes,

The Z10 is still on OS 10, while the Z30 is coming with OS 10.2 but lets not forget Z10/Q10/Q5 will also get an Update to 10.2 by Mid October.

They both weigh the same KG i.e 128kg respectively(Which bothers me coz the Z30 is bigger, How come?)

The display feature is funny, coz the Z10 carries more Pixel than the Z30.

The worst part, Same camera Pixel 8MP(Back)! 2MP(Front)!....Anyways thats all for now you can fish out the rest, but one thing that will make you go eager for Z30 is the new Paratek technology which in summary is a new generation technology for network stability when there's no strong Network coverage click here to read more about the tech in their press release.... in my own opinion Z30 rocks!!!

Early today we got a press release concerning BlackBerry's latest device named Z30, this model ofcourse is a sister to BlackBerry Z10 but the obvious difference is that the BlackBerry Z30 comes as a Big sis to the aforementioned smartphone.

In Summary before you head to the press release, here are some basic and important features that comes with this device some say its like an S4, others say its bigger than Galaxy Note, whichever way when it arrives fiscally we'll fill the gaps....

The BlackBerry Z30 is comes with the new OS 10.2 build Sporting a 5" Super AMOLED display, 1.7 GHz processor with quadcore graphics, the Z30 will be the second latest all-touch smartphone in the BB 10 family from BlackBerry.

The most important part is the battery and Blackberry didn't disappoint, the Z30 features a 2880mAh battery making it the biggest battery ever made on a BlackBerry till date.

Also a rear feature among other smartphones comes into play as the new Z30 smartphone comes with a New Generation Antenna Technology from BlackBerry which dynamically tunes reception to give you better connectivity in low signal areas. BlackBerry® Paratek Antenna can give you faster data transfers and fewer dropped calls in low signal areas, keeping you connected in more places.

Most of us were probably expecting the Z10/Q10/Q5 to utilize the Paratek technology that RIM acquired a while back, but it looks like they finally implemented it in the Z30. Or, it's already in the previous BB10 devices and BlackBerry is just highlighting it again.

As for getting your hands on one, the Z30 will be available from select retailers in the UK and Middle East beginning next week, and all other regions going into the holiday season.

In other News BBM(Blackberry Messenger) release date will now be available to Android and IPhones  Sept 21 and Sept 22 respectively...

BBM for iOS and Android to Launch This Summer

Apple and Android™ users this summer, with support planned for iOS7, and Android 4.2 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or higher, all subject to approval by the Apple App Store and Google Play.

BBM sets the standard for mobile instant messaging with a fast, reliable, engaging experience that includes delivered and read statuses, and personalized profiles and avatars. Upon release, BBM customers would be able to broaden their connections to include friends, family and colleagues on other mobile platforms.
In the planned initial release, iOS and Android users would be able to experience the immediacy of BBM chats, including multi-person chats, as well as the ability to share photos and voice notes, and engage in BBM Groups, which allows BBM customers to create groups of up to 30 people.

“For BlackBerry, messaging and collaboration are inseparable from the mobile experience, and the time is definitely right for BBM to become a multi-platform mobile service. BBM has always been one of the most engaging services for BlackBerry customers, enabling them to easily connect while maintaining a valued level of personal privacy. We’re excited to offer iOS and Android users the possibility to join the BBM community,” said Andrew Bocking, Executive Vice President, Software Product Management and Ecosystem, at BlackBerry.
BBM is loved by customers for its “D” and “R” statuses, which show up in chats to let people know with certainty that their message has been delivered and read. It provides customers with a high level of control and privacy over who they add to their contact list and how they engage with them, as invites are two-way opt-in. iOS and Android users would be able to add their contacts through PIN, email, SMS or QR code scan, regardless of platform. Android users would also be able to connect using a compatible NFC-capable device.

BBM has more than 60 million monthly active customers, with more than 51 million people using BBM an average of 90 minutes per day. BBM customers collectively send and receive more than 10 billion messages each day, nearly twice as many messages per user per day as compared to other mobile messaging apps. Almost half of BBM messages are read within 20 seconds of being received; indicating how truly engaged BBM customers are.

Today, BlackBerry also announced BBM Channels, a new social engagement platform within BBM that will allow customers to connect with the businesses, brands, celebrities and groups they are passionate about. BlackBerry plans to add support for BBM Channels as well as voice and video chatting for iOS and Android later this year, subject to approval by the Apple App Store and Google Play.

If approved by Apple and Google, the BBM app will be available as a free download in the Apple® App Store(SM) and Google Play store. Additional details about system requirements and availability will be announced closer to the launch.

Just after a successful released of the all new BlackBerry 10 devices e.g Z10 and Q10, heres a sneak leak to what we could say the next iBlackberry lol coz this device R10 is said to have a non-removable battery with a back plastic cover that looks like an iPhone 3G...

These are the differences and i believe from this you can make a wise choice :-)

**Updated 25th Of July 2013***

BlackBerry has just released the first update for its latest BlackBerry 10 operating system.
The only available smartphone powered by the BB10 - the BlackBerry Z10 can get the update over-the-air.

The 10.0.10.85 update weighs in at 150MB and boosts the smartphone performance, battery life, low-light camera capabilities, etc.

Here are the Top 5 changes in the official
changelog.

- 3rd Party App Performance - We've improved performance for 3rd party applications, so developers can build apps that run fast and smooth for you. With this update, you might want to keep an eye out for some fresh new app launches in
March, like WhatsApp. Phone, Calendar, and

- Contacts - Among the top improvements and features are fixes for Gmail calendars on BlackBerry 10. You'll also find improvements in the BlackBerry Hub for logging calls log and how conversations are handled. We've also made general improvements to importing
contacts from online sources.

- Camera - We've optimized the camera for better photos in low-light situations. You'll love the difference this makes for photos where you don't use a flash – like the Time Shift Camera feature.

- Browser and Media - With more and more of you using the gorgeous screen on the BlackBerry Z10 to consume online videos and media, we've made a number of improvements to the software in the way
the browser handles video playback to provide a fantastic experience.

- Battery Life - The software team has included a number of battery life optimizations with over 60 battery saving improvements since launch to keep you moving. These combined improvements are
designed so that you see improvements in battery life and heavy users especially should see a longer average usage per charge cycle.

The update comes shortly after the official
BlackBerry 10 launch, so it seems BlackBerry is working hard on constantly improving the new operating system. The next BB10 device - the QWERTY-fied BlackBerry Q10 - is to be released around April.

In case you own a Z10 smartphone and you didn't get the OTA notification, you can manually check for the update from the Software Update settings.

The update rolls out gradually, so it might take a few days until it appears for you. Our test Z10 device, for example, is still on the waiting list.

A new report has surrounded the Mobile tech world and its like a Battle that might not come to a certain end.

First of all, we all know Instagram is an exclusive app for Apple products e.g iPhone, iTouch and iPad but sometime in March(2012) they welcomed Android to its platform but refused Blackberry.

Rumor says Its most likely Instagram didn't accept to be on Blackberry due to the down sloop of income the company(RIM) suffered.

This new year(2013) BlackBerry launched their new smart phones Z10 and X10 which has a more powerful OS(Operating System) named BB10(Blackberry 10) but FaceBook(the owner of Instagram) still declines being on the new devices.

An insider claims because BBM(Blackberry Messenger) is exclusively for Blackberry products and they aren't ready to share it to other mobile platforms, Instagram will also not come on Blackberry.

However in recent news Blackberry officials said they are still in-talks with Instagram.

Instagram currently has over 30 million registered users, who contribute more than 5 million photos a day. More than 1 billion photos in all have been uploaded to Instagram, strictly from iOS devices.

Instagram for Android is compatible with smartphones running Android 2.2 and up.

But the thing is, if BBM sells out to iPhone and Android devices I bet there won't be any thing significant in buying a blackberry phones after all.

So what's your own take, should BBM be on iPhone and Android phones for the sake of everyone having Instagram account?

When Apple brought out iPad, the world was amazed at such a sleek flat tablet but this time its a newer evolution as Sony brings to you the ultimate and most powerful smartphone Tech developers probably think is impossible.

The New Sony Xperia would shock the world when its unveiled sometime in the First week of March but before then lets take a brief comparison with Apples latest Smartphone iPhone 5.

• Processor: The iPhone 5 has a 1.2GHz Apple A6 dual-core processor while the Xperia Z steps up to a 1.5GHz Qualcomm quad-core Krait processor.

• Display: The famed Retina display is a feature of the iPhone 5. It has a 4-inch IPS LCD screen with resolution of 1136 x 640 and ppi of 326. The Xperia Z on the other hand has a 5-inch TFT full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a whopping 441ppi.

•RAM and Storage: The iPhone 5 has 1GB of RAM and either 16, 32 or 64GB of internal storage, sadly non-expandable.

The Xperia Z has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable to 32GB via microSD.

• Camera: You'll find an 8-megapixel rear camera on the iPhone 5 with autofocus, LED flash, simultaneous HD image and video recording, face detection, geo- tagging, panorama, touch focus and HDR. It's
capable of 1080p video capture with LED video light, geo-tagging and video stabilization and it also totes a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Xperia Z has a 13.1-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, face detection, geo-tagging, image stabilization, touch focus, panorama and HDR. It also has 1080p video capture with continuous autofocus, video light, stabilizer and HDR plus a 2.2-megapixel front-facing camera.

• Battery: A non-removable 1440 mAh battery features for the iPhone 5 whereas the Xperia Z packs a 2330 mAh battery, also non-removable.

• Operating System: The iPhone 5 runs iOS 6.0, upgradable now to iOS 6.1. Meanwhile the Xperia Z will launch running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, upgradable to 4.2 with the Timescape UI.

• Dimensions, weight: The iPhone 5 measures 123.8 mm x 58.6 mm x 7.6mm and weighs only 112g. It comes in two colors, black with slate or white with silver. The Xperia Z measures 139 mm x 71 mm x 7.9mm and weighs 146g.

• Color options: There are three color options for the Xperia Z, black, white or purple. While the iPhone 5 has

• Water Resistant: The Xperia Z is water- resistant and dust-resistant and also supports NFC, the iPhone 5 lacks both.

• Price: Obviously prices vary from region to region but as an example we'll give you some US pricing. The iPhone 5 starts at $199 for the 16GB model going up to $299 and $399 respectively for the 32 or 64GB models.

That's on the usual two-year contract. If
you want to purchase the iPhone 5 unlocked without a contract it is available through Apple for $649, $749 or $849 depending on storage. No US pricing has been announced yet for the Xperia Z but it's estimated that it will be around the same $199 price with a two-year contract and unlocked at around
$600 to $650. Culled from phonereviews.co.uk

In my own views I see iPhone 5 as a more lighter and simple to use smartphone but if you need a super phone with extra ordinary device that you can boast about with more megapixel and an expandable memory of 32GB then Xperia Z should be the best choice for you.

What's your choice?

iTunes has hit 25 billion song downloads in its
virtual store, Apple announced today. A German customer who bought "Monkey Drums (Goksel Vancin Remix)" by Chase Buch conducted the landmark purchase, and Apple is giving him a gift card worth €10,000, or around $13,500.

The company also revealed that the iTunes store averages 15,000 downloaded songs per minute, totaling $1.7 billion in revenue with its 26 billion song catalog in the last quarter of 2012. The virtual store launched almost 10 years ago.

Though Apple posted impressive numbers with
iTunes, its song downloads are far below their app downloads: the App Store marked its 40 billionth download last month, with nearly 20 billion downloaded in 2012 alone, though many apps are also available for free.

BlackBerry said its new platform will be available in the U.K tomorrow which is Jan 31st while Canada should expect shipping on Feb 3 but the United States can wait still sometime in March as no exact date was given. After this major shipping the new Device should now go Global.

If you're in Canada, there's a favoritism as both devices Z10 and Q10 goes for $149.99 with three year contract. However Lab testing for 110 worldwide carries will be completed at the end of February, so releases should follow shortly thereafter.

The above picture shows the real OS interface for the new Blackberry 10. Rumour has it that the new devices would be coming with a SiRi like application.

As you can see, the second picture shows a mic like the SiRi does on iPhone 4s and the one Samsung has on S 3(III). Though the design sure looks similar but not the same coz Apple might go on a Lawsuit against the company for copying their brand. Its also seen to be as a voice search application, as the mic stays in an environment that has a search box on top of it.

Thinking about the voice search application apart from SiRi there's no Smart phone with such feature except you download it from a third party app vendor and this could really be a huge success for the Blackberry as it surfaces globally mid February 2013.

However applications like facebook and twitter still has the same GUI, perhaps they(RIM Developers) are only trying to test run the app and to know what could possibly go wrong during the use of the apps on the New platform. So Twitter and Facebook should begin working on a different layout for this smart phones as they did for iPhones and Androids. This is BB 10 for crying out LOUD!!! Lol
